A tourist painting

I was surprised by how many people were on the harbour front in the old town area of Chania. It took me a while to find a quiet spot to paint. I couldn’t find shade, so I slowly fried while painting. With that in mind, the watercolour didn’t turn out so bad.

      Dear Sylvie,
I noticed your name on MELDRUM’s website, which I have been following for years. From exceptional sketches, he has now reached the point of creating very successful watercolors, such as the one from Chania.
I am currently writing a novel with many illustrative images, about life as a trio, a man and two mistresses, two very beautiful and very intelligent women.
The strange thing about the book is that the man’s name is Vlad and the two women’s names are the same = Silvia
I have become sensitive to the name Silvia and that is why I am writing to you, to find out more about you. You are helping me develop the narrative in unexpected and interesting ways.
I am an architect and I am 80 years old.

How does the island of Crete look?
      With love,
