I was able to get into the groove during this session. It was one of those better days… 🙂

Piet Lap – watercolour artist

le fret bretagne 2 by Piet Lap

Piet Lap – I want to take a closer look at his work at a later date. I know nothing about him except that he paints extremely well! Here is a link to his website.

Guan Weixing

Somebody who calls himself “The great artist of China” otherwise know  as Guan Weixing. This site is also worth viewing; which I will some other day. Visit here.

Lunchtime sketching resumes

I have been rather busy since the summer holidays. But today I was relaxed enough to do a little lunchtime sketch. I don’t know if anyone would recognise this artist, a hint is that he likes to sing about buildings.

Back to basics

I left my watercolours at home this week, I wanted to focus on improving my drawing skills. I used Gioconda synthetic charcoal and a Koh-i-Noor pencil. The life drawing session was at Konstnärshuset, Stockholm.
