Getting there

I wonder what type of watercolour artist I will become. I know I want to leave something for the viewer of my work to interpreted. A form of mystery you could say. So, I have no plan to be a realist even if some of my paintings look that way. I’m in transition. This watercolour of a woman with her head in her hands, what is she thinking? I leave that up to you. I like that, the mystery.

Woman in thought. 50 x 32 cm Saunders rough 300g watercolour paper

As usual in your comments the less confident in you is yourself. You have a style in watercoloring that make you different, the way you choose what to hide to say even more, the use of color, your palette, the way you compose your waercolors, even the kind of subjets everything makes you a very talented watercolorist. Fortunately I can enjoy all this cualities in you. Thanks for sharing.
