Here in Sweden it’s cool and damp between September and December. And it’s pretty cool the rest of the year except for July and August which means it is hard to dry watercolours while outdoors. I visited the hardware store for a solution and I think I found it. I’ll just have to be careful not to set the paper on fire! 🙂

Yes please, try not to set the paper on fire, I would like keep enjoying your art. It must be very dificult painting under these cold and wet weather. You people of the north are really a brave heroes, I,,m sure I would give up painting outdoors.
I'm off cross-country skiing soon, I'll have my watercolours with me and I'll bring along the mini-burner and try it out then. The challenge of painting in the cold is fun in some ways, one has to paint quickly and not hang around, otherwise there is a risk of frost-bite! 😉
